The weather is warming up and I could not be more excited! This time last year was so wild and fashion trends took a back seat for most people. Many of us traded in our work clothes for comfy clothes and our fun outings for fun at home activities that required little to no fashion taste. However, fashionistas are never hindered from their love for fashion so I wanted to dedicate a post to current spring fashion trends. We adapted from our put-together chicness to comfy chic. This year we’re back and running and I can not wait to spread some inspiration for all your much-needed spring get-togethers! Boyfriend Blazer

Boyfriend blazers are big this spring and I am pumped! They are so versatile and you can wear them with any outfit. From laid back casual to elevated date night a boyfriend blazer will be your best accessory! Pair this blazer with some distressed denim and a sexy cami for an elevated casual look! This look will take you anywhere throughout the day! One of my favorite ways to style my blazers is to use them to dress up a casual look. This look is perfect for casual Fridays that have the strong potential to turn into happy hour cocktails. This one is in my Amazon shop and such a good one that comes in black and nude as well.

90’s Fit Jean

Bring back the 90s! This has to be my favorite current spring fashion trends! 90s fashion trends are making a huge comeback and it is giving me all the feels of nostalgia. Loose high rise fitted jeans are coming back and thank goodness for this one! Give me any excuse to toss those tight skinny jeans after all the quarantine. My family hopped on the baking trend to keep the kids semi occupied this past year. These jeans are so flattering on any body type.

Style them with a vintage graphic tee with a front tuck and a cute pair of sneakers for a casual look. Or take them up a notch and add a pair of spring heels and a spring top for brunch or date night. You can wear these in so many ways that you probably already have numerous pieces in your closet to pair them with. All you need for this spring is the jeans, my personal favorite brands is AGOLDE. AGOLDE has made me fall back in love with jeans. This spring they’re releasing so many different styles such as distressed, cut out, or clean cut denim.

Statement Sleeves

Statement sleeves are such an easy way to elevate an outfit and one of my favorite current spring fashion trends. These trendy statement sleeves take a minimalistic outfit to a whole new level. This spring I am loving cream tops paired with some classic denim pants. The neutral color gives this top the ability to go with almost any bottom you want. Pair a statement sleeve top with denim shorts for brunch or pair it with a fun skirt and heels for a night out. These tops are so versatile and can be found at numerous retailers, my favorites are Nordstrom and ShopBop!

Trench Coats

Trench coats are a timeless piece. Every fashionista needs a trench coat in their closet. Although timeless so many new styles of trench coats are emerging this spring. This cream trench is a new look with modern detailing it even has subtle statement sleeves. The puff sleeves with tie wrists turns this classic piece into a trend setter. A typical rain coat has the potential to ruin an elevated look. Add a modern trench over any outfit for a clean and chic look that looks amazing even in the rain.

Cut Out Details

Classy cut outs are a great way to turn an average piece to a trendy piece of clothing. I wore this dress this past Easter and got so many compliments. This dress looks like a plain white maxi dress but the cut outs add a little something to take the outfit up a notch. When buying cut out pieces I typically stay close to subtle side cut outs because I believe them to be most flattering. They create a sultry look without going all out and showing too much skin.

Embellished Sporty Sandals

I never thought I would be wearing these. If any fashion piece had the word “dad” in it it was a hard no from me. Yet here I am, it really is true. “Never say never in fashion because you’ll be wearing never in a year” especially when it comes to street style. I’m honestly obsessing over this trend this spring. The sandals are so functionally chic, they’re so comfortable and complete any spring outfit. Check out my “how to wear the sporty sandal” post for outfit inspiration! You can dress these up or down. Since they are a more sporty sandal they go so well with any short and tee combo! However, the pearl detailing give them the ability to go with any feminine outfit such as a dress or skirt. Dad sandals are going to be a huge trend this upcoming season.

The Trouser

Trouser pants are a classic style that is making a huge comeback this year. Trousers are no longer only worn in the office. When it comes to Oklahoma’s spring humidity I am always looking for an excuse to ditch my jeans. These lightweight trouser pants are perfect for brunch dates this spring. Pair them with a light sweater like above for those days of chilly morning and warm afternoons. Or pair them with a bodysuit and light jacket for a morning out at brunch with the girls. I love trouser pants because of how flowy and light weight they are while remaining flattering for an ultimate chic and cool outfit for spring.

Corset Tops

Corset tops are so flattering for any body type which is why they’re one of my favorite upcoming Spring trends this year. I love how versatile they are in the way that they can be super classy yet sexy as well. A corset top can uplift any date night outfit. One of my favorite ways to wear them is to pair a feminine corset top containing ruffles or embroidery with a pair of clean denim along with a pair of cute sandals.
