Fall is a favorite season of mine, and its beautiful colors always inspire me to layer up on those crisp mornings. Adjusting your makeup to match the season can make your style pop against the autumn backdrop, creating a cohesive fall look. Fall makeup usually leans on warmer tones with darker eye and lip colors and the fall 2023 makeup trends are no different. Step 1 | Merit Great Skin
A highly effective skincare product that I have recently added into my makeup routine is the Merit Great Skin Instant Glow Serum. I use this product before applying my makeup because it makes my skin feel hydrated and leaves me with a dewy glow. I also love how it is lightweight and not greasy, giving you the perfect celebrity makeup artist base. This truly makes all of the difference in ensuring your makeup glows and last all day long. Step 2 | the minimalist complexion stick
It’s not a foundation or concealer, but it’ll replace both in your makeup bag. This complexion stick is full coverage and comes in 20 colors which is a great sign you will find the perfect match for any skin tones! I went with the shade bisque and its the perfect shade for me. I love how you can use it as concealer for blemishes and build upon it for full coverage. To apply, I used the blending brush. however, you can also use your fingers. This is a great way to achieve that clean base for any beauty trends you want to try this fall.
Step 3 | flush balm cheek color
This cream blush tint effortlessly melts into the skin for a lit-from-within, eye catching glow that stays flush all day. It also comes in 9 colors, perfect for all different skin tones. For this fall makeup look I’m using color mood, which I love. It’s the perfect makeup shade for not only creating classic, minimal makeup looks, but also achieving those fall and winter beauty trends.
Step 4 | bronze balm sheer bronzer
This sheer, but buildable bronzer, has a smooth texture and an overall warmth to it. It’s easy to blend in with your hands and provides a natural glow. Try this if you’re looking for a bronzer with natural warmth and depth for any of the gorgeous fall beauty trends, like the latte makeup look. I’m using the shade clay. And I apply it directly under my cheek bones and under my chin. This creates a more structured and flawless face.
Step 5 | Solo Shadow
These creamy shadows are Merit’s newest launch and the tones are perfect fall eye makeup. I went with the shade Vachetta (warm beige), BRUN (deep brown), and Nelson (soft gray). These are all buildable for a soft daytime eyeshadow eye makeup look or a more dramatic date night eye makeup look. If you are looking for a more dramatic look like a winged liner or cat eye these, you can use the No.2 brush for precise lines.
Step 6 | brow 1980 volumizing pomade
This pomade will not only give your brows color and structure, but will also leave your brows soft and feeling natural. I went with the brown shade and it created the perfect, natural but gorgeous look. I love that it’s a flexible formula, creating a flawless and natural brow look.
step 7 | clean lash lengthening mascara
The clean lash mascara not only does a great job of lengthening your lashes, but also feels so weightless on. Finding a good, clean mascara can be difficult, but this is definitely one to try. Also, this mascara is another favorite product from celebrity makeup artists. It’s a great, staple addition to your makeup collection. I love pairing it with my Creamy Shadows from Merit winged liner or cat eye look to add even more volume.
step 8 | signature lip lightweight lipstick
I’m wearing the shades slip in the lipstick and au natural in the gloss, and they are absolutely gorgeous and nourishing. This natural and lightweight lipstick is not only hydrating, but also buildable, with a satin finish. Whether you’re going for a bold lips a glossy lips look, or a subtle daily lips look, these smooth, moisturizing, shades are a must-have for your fall makeup looks.
