Blazers use to be only worn for business attire but recently I have been seeing them everywhere! From wearing them with lounge wear to full on satin date night dresses! They have become so versatile and now need to be a staple in everyones closet even if you don’t wear business attire. This week I am sharing four different ways to wear a blazer for spring. How to Style a Blazer in Four Ways
White Blazer | Graphic Tee | Denim Shorts | Sneakers | Baseball Cap
This casual look is great for running errands to attending multiple soccer games over the weekend while looking super chic and put together. I love my weekend outfits to be comfortable and functional while still remaining on trend. Here I styled the blazer for a super dressed down look with a graphic tee and denim shorts. I love the criss cross waistband on the denim shorts, it is super on trend and elevates the average pair of denim shorts. For my accessories I chose to stick with the classic sporty look of sneakers and a ball cap. I kept these accessories simple but chic.
Grey Set Top | Grey Set Bottoms | Gold slides | Clutch | White Blazer | Wide Brim Hat | Fabric Drop Earrings
I am loving this grey and white set! The top is not super cropped but it’s cropped enough to add a flirty vibe with the matching trouser shorts. I love matching sets because they take one extra step out the outfit styling process. I went super trendy when it came to my accessories with this outfit. Between the wide brim hat and fabric drop earrings no one will notice that you may have just thrown a hat on to cover up your day two hair that dry shampoo couldn’t take care of. I discovered these gold and grey slip ons the other day and have not been able to get them out of my mind! They’re super versatile and can go with any dress or denim combo you might have. Not to mention they’re super cute and unique!
Square Neck Grey Dress | White Blazer | Printed Slides | Marc Jacobs Bag | Jeweled Earrings
For a causal date night look I always like to go for a midi dress and slides. The blazer does a great job of dressing up this casual look to take you into the evening. I love this dress because it is super comfortable but looks great elevated with a blazer and jeweled earrings. This look is super simple but will still have your significant other swooning over you!
Heather Grey Cowlneck Top | Silver Satin Skirt | White Blazer | Silver Chain Necklace | Grey Bag | White Quilted Heel
I am obsessing over this midi skirt! I’m loving the satin silver color and the fact that it has an elastic waistband so you don’t feel constricted all day at work. Since it is a flowy midi length skit I went with a fitted top to keep your silhouette still intact between the skirt and blazer. When it comes to the blazer’s hardware such as the silver buttons I like to match my jewelry with it. I paired this outfit with a simple silver chain necklace over the turtle neck top to tie in the blazer’s buttons. To top the outfit off I added this versatile bag that can be worn in numerous ways. Not only can this bag be worn as a cross body but the straps can be altered to make the bag into a backpack! Talk about a two for one!
