As a neutral fashion lover, I’m always gravitating towards the colors of blacks, nudes, creams, whites and grays of course. More recently, I’ve been focusing more on the color navy. I spotted it in one of my favorite local boutiques, Balliets and while I was trying on a faux leather black short. I almost grabbed the cream mock neck crop sweater and the navy was laying underneath. While I knew typically I would always go toward the light and dark contrast, something was telling me to try something new. Maybe its because Ryan got me this navy YSL camera bag for valentines day because he thought it was different than what I’ve previously owned, but long story short I’ve just loved introducing the color palette to my capsule wardrobe this spring. Although it’s darker and not bright, I feel like it brings a new level of interest to my elevated basics.
As I’ve been searching for unique art for my home, I’ve been loving the complexity of Anthropologie art. It’s abstract but also with a feminine feel. The color combination of this piece just feels like it’s a piece that could tie your room all together.
As for fashion, I’m seeing more events such as weddings and parties as well as people planning a vacation. it’s so refreshing to see as I love getting dressed up. As a mom, it makes us feel good! I also am I huge fan of the details from Loeffler Randall shoes and I love this gold sandal. It’s the perfect mix of dressy yet casual.
As for beauty, we’ve all seen more self care in the last year on feeds and to do lists. Some days I win in this category and some days I majorly lose. But whenever I’m laying my head down at night, its on this slip pillowcase and it makes such a difference in keeping the sleep wrinkles away as well as not breaking your hair down.
Thanks for beauty here for my Sunday Craving post today, this is a little passion project of mine and I love sharing it with you. Stay tuned for next weeks, they are released every Sunday!
