In the last year, I’ve really got more settled with having a capsule wardrobe and once you are comfortable with less is more and focus on a curated elevated basics you will find that it makes getting dresses so much easier. A white button up is an essentials piece in your every day wardrobe. It’s one that can be worn so many ways such as rolling up the sleeves in the summer or layering it under your blazer for fall. In transitional seasons such as spring or summer, I love styling my button up shirt with my favorite pair of denim shorts. I particularly love the black and white outfits as you can keep it classic with your closet staple or you can make it look a bit edgy as I did here. This closet staple look can be more casual with your blue denim shorts and wear a white sneaker.

Styling a white button up with your favorite pair of denim jeans will keep this closet staple looking classic when wearing white. Here I added some gold chains that can be layered. You can also style with a none ripped pair of jeans, add a blazer and it’s the perfect closet staple outfit for a casual Friday at the office.

Feminine Look
Another way to change up this look is to add some feminine pieces to your white button up such a scrappy sandal and Amazon pearl headband or earring will give your closet staple a feminine feel. Another way to is to keep this look monochromatic. Style it with your favorite pair of white denim and wear a white blazer under $100 to add to this look.
