The shacket is one of this year’s hottest fall and winter fashion trends, so today I’m dedicating a post on what a shacket is and how your can wear it to create fashionable outfits throughout the colder seasons.
What is a Shacket
A shacket is a shirt thick enough to be halfway between a shirt and a jacket which makes it an ideal, year-round layering piece. Typically, you distinguish a shacket from a shirt by weight. It is heavier and usually made from wool or fleece and most stackers have chest pockets. Shackets are another option for a button down shirt and in the winter months can be an essential piece to your closet. In addition, they are great layering pieces during the transition weather and is now considered a wardrobe staple for fall and winter. It’s a great transitional piece that can replace your denim jacket or winter coat with many styling options.
