Winter Vacation Packing List

Since meeting my husband, winter vacations are a yearly trip. We got engaged in Crested Butte but Park City has been a new favorite for the last few years. With my experience it packing for a winter vacation, I’ve come to realized how to pack and what to pack is so important. Winter items are bulky so being organized and pack light for winter is key. You want to bring enough items but the right essentials to cover you needs. A lot of you have been asking for my winter vacation packing list and I’m so excited to share it with you today!

Sam Down Jacket

Dressing for the winter is one of my favorite seasons to dress for. I love the layering, all the cozy and the mix of textures. It’s so bring a few leggings and different sweaters and style them with different accessories to create a whole new look.

Puffer/Sherpa Jacket

I am obsessed with my SAM puffer jacket. I love the fit and it’s the warmest jacket I’ve ever owned. It’s been on the best investments for the winter season. I’ve never been cold and the fur is detachable. I wear a size S in this jacket.

A long sherpa jacket is is the perfect addition for winter vacation because it’s chic and yet cozy. Since my puffer is black, I love to get another neutral or vice versa!

Pants

When shopping around town or heading out to dinner, I typically only wear my Commando faux leather leggings. Occasionally, I might pack a pair of jeans, but I love how these leggings take up no space and are comfortable!Typically when packing I pack one to two of my favorite Commando faux leather .

Sweaters

I my Free People chunky knit sweater for a winter vacation but also a cashmere sweater is the warmest and Everlane has the best without being too expensive.

Winter Boots

These are in important pack for me. I typically like to bring 2-3 because I’m a shoe girl. I love a hiking book from Marc Fischer. Also, Sorels are a must on my trip for days that I ski. I love these because they are light weight but waterproof!

Beanies

I usually pack 3-4 beanies, usually cream, neutral and black. Such an easy way to change up my accessories for an entire new look for out and about!

Scarves and Gloves

For scarves, I typically bring 2. One for my black outfits and one for my brown outfits. I usually stock up on these from Target because I can have fun with my accessories. For gloves, I always use a tech glove.

Planning to Ski: Here’s What to Wear

It can be a little overwhelming with all the ski gear options, however, below I’m sharing my favorite brands that I know will last over the years. You really only need one great ski jacket and pant unless you want to mix it up on the slopes.

If you planning to ski, I suggest making sure you have the base layers, mid layers, accessories to make sure you are packed to stay warm.
