Bags are one of the most important parts of your outfit. They are functional and trendy, and just like your outfit, the bags can instantly change from season to season. Designers launch plenty of bags that are perfect to wear with your winter outfit. For fall/winter 2024 fashion trends, we are seeing things like velvet, gingham, and jewel and brown tones to carry from us fall to winter—as well as mini bags and lots of chain detailing. Also, you are seeing not only updated classics in the designer handbag market, but also a more conscious effort in vegan leather as well. How To Store Designer Bags
As their price tags suggest, designer bags aren’t your average, ordinary bags. Luxury purses require a bit more care to ensure longevity and maintain their condition and value. Here are some tips for proper storage of your designer bags:
- Completely empty your bag by removing its contents. Use a lint roller to remove dust and debris.
- Wipe down the exterior of the bag. Use a damp paper towel or alcohol-free cleaning wipe for bags made from hard-pressed, grained leather. For untreated leather or suede exteriors, wipe it with a dry paper towel.
- Stuff the bag to help it keep its shape.
- Place the bag in a soft, breathable dustbag that is large enough to cover the bag without distorting it. You can also use the original box if you still have it.
- Store your bags sitting upright or lying down. Avoid stacking bags and be sure to separate them so they’re not touching each other.
