My mother in law introduced this one this easy greek hummus appetizer and it’s now a side staple side dish and snack that everyone in our family loves. It’s super refreshing and full of flavor and a bonus it’s so simple to make!
Easy Greek Layered Hummus Dip
I love this recipe and it’s definitely a dip that is a crowd pleaser as well as beautifully displayed for a spring or summer party. It’s such an easy recipe to put together with a quick grocery store run especially if you need something easy and delicious.

What you Need from the Grocery Store
Unflavored Hummus (2 10 oz)
Feta Crumbles
Garbanzo Beans
Pita Bread for Serving
Cucumbers / Grape Tomatoes / Pepperoncini Peppers / Red Pepper
Greek Seasoning
I love this dip, but there is many variations you could add or change to this greek layered hummus that would be just as delicious such as pine nuts, ny fresh veggies, kalamata Olives, or red onions.

Easy Greek Hummus Recipe
2 10 oz. containers unflavored hummus
4 mini cucumbers, seeded & chopped
¼ c feta crumbles
½ red pepper
¼ c large Greek pitted olives
(I use olive mix from olive bar)
½ c grape tomatoes
¼ c pepperoncini peppers
1 t Greek Seasoning
healthy drizzle of olive oil
small handful of toasted garbanzo beans
parsley to garnish
1pkg whole wheat pita bread
Start by cutting pita bread into triangles and drizzle with olive oil, & sprinkle with Greek Seasoning as well as salt and pepper.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes until golden brown. Cut in wedges and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Let cool.
(Store bought Pita chips are my favorite)
Spoon both containers of hummus on a pretty tray or flat dish and
make a well lengthwise on your plated hummus and drizzle with good olive oil.
Layer Your Toppings
Layer the next ingredients starting with cucumbers and end with parsley to garnish.
As mentioned earlier, the toppings are endless for this layer dip. Any fresh veggies layered would be so good! Add a squeeze of lemon juice and salt and pepper.
Serve with the toasted Wheat Pita bread or serve with Pita chips from the store. Any crackers would also compliment the layered hummus dip and you are all set to serve!
This recipe can be served as a salad, but I like to serve as an appetizer for a crowd of people. Refrigerate any leftovers covered tightly for lunch the next day!
