When you have kids, life gets even busier, making it harder to find time for just the two of you. That’s why it’s so important to embrace date night, whether you’re having a casual movie night at home or going out for a nice dinner. Feeling your best is key to enjoying this time together, and a good beauty routine can help with that. So today, I’m excited to share the ultimate date night beauty routine that I’ve put together to make sure you’re ready to enjoy your special night. From skincare to makeup and more, this routine will help you look and feel your best, so you can fully enjoy your time together!

The Ultimate Date Night Beauty Routine
I’m excited to share The Ultimate Date Night Beauty Routine, covering everything from prepping the night before to doing your makeup and hair on the day of. Plus, I’ll include those little finishing touches you might forget that can make the night even more memorable!
Prepping for Date Night | Night Before
Take an Everything Shower
The night before date night, if you have time, it’s always a great idea to take an everything shower. This makes getting ready the next day so much easier. I personally love using a body scrub in the shower, Ouai has a favorite of mine. Next, whether you shave or wax, it’s the perfect time to do either to make sure you’re all set for date night. After the shower, I like to use body oil to ensure I feel silky smooth. And Osea is my go to for this. They make amazing sets that include a dry brush, which is another great thing to add into your routine. I also love to incorporate a clarifying shampoo and then a moisturizing masque. Overall, taking an everything shower the night before is a great way to feel refreshed and excited for your date!
Do your nails
Doing your nails before your date can make a big difference in helping you feel put together. Whether you go to a salon or do them at home, it’s a great way to feel stylish and ready for your night out. The night before a date is a great time to pamper yourself with a facial or an LED mask. I use the CurrentBody LED mask and personally love it. If you want to read more about it, check out my blog post here. When I need an under eye refresh, I love the Omnilux Eye Brightener because it instantly brightens up my eyes. Another favorite of mine for an at home lift and facial is the ZIIP Halo. It’s been my go to tool for lifting and brightening my face. Check out my post on it here. Any of these treatments is a fantastic way to make yourself feel refreshed before your date.

Getting ready the day of your date involves deciding on your makeup look, which can vary depending on the occasion. For a casual outing, you might want a more natural look, while a formal date could call for something more glamorous. Personally, I love going for a fairly natural face with a chic mauve lip and a light smoky eye. I’m really loving Merit Beauty for my go to makeup essentials. They have some great clean beauty products that I love incorporating into my date night looks.

After doing your makeup for date night, it’s important to have a chic hair look to match your elegant makeup. I typically love to go with a classy hair style. Whether you straighten your hair, curl it, or try something different, it’s important to use products that are good for your hair. Here are some of my favorites for styling fine hair. Overall, make sure you have a hairstyle that is both comfy and chic for date night.

Finally, before leaving for the date, I love to put on my favorite perfume. Choosing your perfume is all about personal preference and the occasion. For a casual or outdoor date, you might go for something more floral, while for a more formal dinner date, richer notes could be perfect. Personally, I’m loving the Baccarat Rouge 540. It’s a must-have scent for me.
